The work of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society is vital to a thorough understanding of the challenges facing our country today. From climate change to reconciliation with Indigenous communities, our accomplishments in storytelling and cartography provoke deep learning and engage a vast audience.  We will be celebrating not only the endeavours of the organization as a whole but also the exploits of our Fellows, the beating heart of the RCGS, with the Geographica Dinner 2024. Each year, Fellows of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society contribute to the arts, the sciences, politics and more, so this illustrious event is an opportunity to recognise and learn about the latest achievements of this adept body.

The Royal Canadian Geographical Society's most important event of the year is enriched with the presence of speakers and entertainers, which in the past have included such figures as The Right Honourable Jean Chrétien, Margaret Atwood, Wade Davis, Loreena McKennitt, and Alex Trebek. The guests of the Geographica Dinner are equally extraordinary, ranging from dignitaries and astronauts to explorers and community leaders. With such a gathering of minds, this exclusive dinner promises to be both an opportunity to share ideas and share an unforgettable evening.

All proceeds from Geographica will go to support the charitable work of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. As one of Canada’s oldest and largest educational, non-profit organizations, the Society, and its iconic publication Canadian Geographic, Canada's #1 paid magazine, have been our country’s most recognized voice for connecting Canadians with the land, culture, and environment in which they live. Canadian Geographic Education is Canada’s largest and most robust non-profit educational organization, reaching students in every province and territory, providing easy access to bilingual resources that are topical, authoritative, and consonant with curricular needs.

Each ticket will be $325.00. Continue on to the ticket selection screen using the button above.
